M'LADY!
One man. One hat. Absolutely no chance.
Sir Soft Pretzel presents M’LADY!, a free, browser-based arcade comedy inspired by the sights and sounds of the Commodore 64.
Pace beneath the windows of the Pretzel Arms, toss your fedora to introduce yourself, and catch it when it comes flying back. Miss a catch and lose dignity. Complete a round and earn the sweetest words a gentleman could hear:
“THANKS, FRIEND.”
Every neighbor has her own way of saying no:
- The cheerful neighbor gently lobs your hat back.
- The goth aims for your head and insults your entire existence.
- The catgirl bats your fedora into another window.
- The gamer girl sends it ricocheting off the walls.
Things get frantic when the women bring hats of their own. From round 4, an extra fedora enters play; from round 7, there are two. Catching these hats automatically sends them back into circulation—no holding them in reserve!
Expect chunky retro pixels, SID-style synthesized music, 60 character dialogue lines, and increasingly questionable hat-based decisions.

How to play
Press a key or tap at the C64 boot screen to load the game and enable sound. At the main menu, press Space or tap to play.
Catch returning hats by moving underneath them. Missed hats cost dignity, but you can retrieve them from the pavement. Clear a round to earn a dignity bonus and recover one lost dignity point. Lose all five dignity points and it’s game over.
Free to play in your browser. No download required.
